Keychain made from imitation leather. Attached to a sturdy, metal key ring. The imitation leather is virtually indistinguishable from real leather. However, the material is made from pineapple leaves, a by-product of pineapple cultivation. For this reason, no additional resources, such as water, fertiliser or pesticides, are required for its production. The fibres from the pineapple leaf are washed, treated with PU and oven-dried. The result? Supple sheets of imitation leather, which are then given a beautiful finish. Once dried, the result is a soft and attractive material. It consists partly of fruit waste and partly of PU.
