What Yankee Candle stands for
Yankee Candle is about the power of fragrance to bring moments, emotions and memories to life. From a summer holiday to warm aromas around Christmas: fragrance can take you back to something special in an instant. With an extensive and constantly evolving range, Yankee Candle offers a fragrance for almost every mood, occasion and season.

The story of Yankee Candle
Yankee Candle started in 1969, when sixteen year old Mike Kittredge made a scented candle at home as a Christmas gift for his mother. A neighbor wanted to buy one too, and with that money he bought materials to make new candles. What began as a personal gift grew into one of the best known scented candle brands in the world.
