The story of Yankee Candle
Yankee Candle started in 1969, when sixteen year old Mike Kittredge made a scented candle at home as a Christmas gift for his mother. A neighbor wanted to buy one too, and with that money he bought materials to make new candles. What began as a personal gift grew into one of the best known scented candle brands in the world.

Yankee Candle originated in Massachusetts and has built broad expertise in home fragrance over the years. Wax, wicks and fragrance are matched to create a consistent scent throw. The candles feature a premium soy wax blend, and the larger sizes have two wicks for an even burn and optimal fragrance experience.
