Social production in The Netherlands
Sustainability is not only reflected in the products, it is also taken into account during production. For example, almost all products are produced in the Netherlands and assembled by more than 400 people in various social workshops in the Netherlands. Thanks to this local production, Mepal saves more than 2,500,000 kilos of CO2 emissions per year. The head office is also sustainably heated by means of a heat pump and they use solar panels.
